Joyce Cody, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Conway, SC at the age of 83.

She was born on October 6, 1940, in Cleveland, Tennessee to her parents, Harrison and Evelyn McSpadden.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Robin Striker, sister, Kay Morrison, and her husband, Clarence Morrison; grandchildren, Cody Burnette, and his wife, Beth Burnette; Christopher Burnette; Megan Sharpton; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Hooper, Bailey Burnette, Micah Burnette, Jayden Montooth, Sam Mantooth; and great-great grandchild, Harlow Gates.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cody, brother, George McSpadden and his sister, Joann Robertson.

Joyce was a proud graduate of Bradley High School, where she excelled in her studies and made lifelong friendships.  In her spare time, she enjoyed indulging in Reality TV and shopping on the Home Shopping Network, finding joy and entertainment in the simple things in life.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
