Judith Ann Platt

Judith Ann Platt, 81, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. She was born October 8, 1939 in England daughter of the late Frederick and Irene Shirley Duce.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Loftus; one son, Martin Loftus; and three brothers, Michael, Robin and Terry Duce.

Survivors include her loving husband, John “Jack” Platt of Myrtle Beach; one daughter, Lisa Loftus Startari of PA; son, Robert Loftus and his wife Sue of CT; grandchildren, Jessica, Allison, Justin, and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Ava and Harper; three stepdaughters, Lanelle Brown and her husband Charles, Beverly Hebert, and Barbara Williams all of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two beloved dogs, Pippa and Bailey.

Judith enjoyed dancing, watching movies, reading, playing shuffle board and spending time with her family. As her husband said, “She gave me a second chance at happiness and our lives were fulfilled.”
