June Russell Obituary
June L. Russell, 84 a 52-year resident of Old Forge, NY passed away at her home in Conway, SC with her son by her side. Her death was attributed to complications due to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
June L. Russell (Gregory) was born June 25, 1939, in the hamlet of Richland, NY. Mom was one of eleven children. After her high school graduation, she moved to the Old Forge. Mom worked at the Village Inn and Katie’s Diner.
In November 1957 June married Robert R. (Pete) Russell. Sadly, Pete predeceased June on February 20, 1992.
As she leaves this dimension and enters the next, she leaves behind two children, Richard R. Russell, and Judi L. Patterson, and two grandchildren, Ronald Russell Ward and Brianna Nicole Patterson.
Graveside services will be held on October 7 at 10 am at the Riverside Cemetery in Old Forge with Reverend James Ulrich officiating.
Following the service, all are invited to share a meal and laughs at the Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
