Karl Henry Melching, Jr, age 74 of Little River, SC, formerly of Delran and Voorhees, NJ, passed away, February 22 ,2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Karl,Sr and Agatha Melching. Mr. Melching was a US Army veteran serving during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the American Legion #503 in Calabash, NC. Mr. Melching enjoyed boating, fishing, and wood working.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Kitty (Kauffman) Melching; his loving daughters, Jennifer Easterday (Micheal) and Amy McKay (Edward); grandchildren, Olivia, Julia, Hunter and Cole; father in law, Wilbur Kauffman and sisters, Jeanette Sonnhalter and Linda Boyer.

Private services will be held with a luncheon following.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
