Kelly Roslyn Gardner, aged 49, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2026, while on vacation in Myrtle Beach, her favorite place in the whole world. She was born March 29, 1977, in Camp Hill, Pa. to Susan Jane Caruthers and Paul Mark Gardner.

Kelly graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1996. She started working at the Pa. Higher Education Assistance Agency in 2001 and was looking forward to her 25th anniversary there coming up in November.

Kelly is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Josephine Gladys Wagner and John Clyde Caruthers, Jr. and her paternal grandparents Myrna Jacqueline Allen and Reynold David Gardner, Sr.

She is survived by her mother and father; her sisters, Jess Mulligan and Bethany Diven; aunts and uncles Margaret, Ren, Tom, John and Sue, Tim and Jan, Ron and Nancy; her nieces and nephews Tristan, Scarlett, Hannah, Ethan, Dillan, Lily and Liam; and many, many adored cousins.

Kelly loved all kinds of music, dancing, festivals, hanging out with friends, dinner and movie dates with her Dad, trying new restaurants, and good food, especially tacos!

A Celebration of Kelly's Life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Cleversburg Community Center, 56 Cleversburg Rd., Shippensburg, Pa. from 5:30-9 pm. Memorial flowers in Kelly's memory at the Celebration of Life would be most welcome.
