Kim Laura (Johnston) Dreisen Obituary

Kim Laura Johnston-Dreisen, beloved daughter of James and Delores Johnston, 70, passed away comfortably, surrounded by her best friends,  May 18th, 2024, in Myrtle Beach South Carolina.

She grew up in the Baltimore-Washington area with many friends in the area.

She is survived by her longtime companion Ron Roy; her brothers, Brian Johnston, wife Barb, and Kent Johnston, wife Connie; her best friends, Gretchen Kelliher and Tommy Longstreth, among many other family and friends.

Some of her favorite things in life were, riding on the Harley, going to country music venues, going to the beach, loved, loved, loved Aruba, outings with friends, Maryland crabs, margaritas, and a great Bloody Mary.

Kim worked in the optical field as an optician and all of her co-workers, customers, and friends in the industry loved her very much.

She will be missed immensely a “bushel and a peck” by all that knew her.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

RIP Kimmee
