Laura Lynn Oliveira

Laura Lynn Oliveira, age 51 died suddenly at home April 7, 2024.  Laura was born September 24th, 1972, in Somerville, New Jersey.  She spent her youth growing up in Neshanic Station, NJ.  She had also lived in Manville, NJ. Athens Georgia before moving to Myrtle Beach in 2003.  She graduated high school from Somerset County Vocational Technical school with honors.  She took courses in Cosmetology and Business Education.  While in NJ she worked at a number of corporate offices.  Laura loved her most recent job as owner of Jewelry Made For You in N. Myrtle Beach.  She was known to friends as such a kind, friendly lady.  She was so full of life and made so many people happy.  She loved to travel, and her latest trips were to Italy and Greece in 2023 with her fiancée.  She also loved country music concerts, oil painting and the beach.  She had so much love in her and said that love was caring, sharing, kindness, patience, acceptance, understanding, compromise, and gratitude.  She will be sadly missed.

Surviving is her son: Austin Oliveira, her parents: Patricia and Lewis Van Glahn, her fiancée: Calvin Gilleland and her two kitties.
