Lawrence Novreske Obituary

Lawrence Henry Novreske, 83, of Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly from Prescott Valley, AZ), passed away at home on April 20, 2024. Larry was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 11, 1940, to Emanuel Joseph Novreske and Charlotte (Jurgensen) Novreske.

After graduating high school, Larry attended Valparaiso Technical Institute before joining the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in Encampment, WY, he met and married June Fritts. Together, they had four children: Edward Joseph, Kevin Wayne, Donna Marlene, and Paul Lawrence. After being stationed in Thailand and Virginia, he retired from the military and settled in Merritt Island, FL. He worked as a computer programmer and enjoyed spending time on the water with family and supporting his kids at swim meets. They retired to Prescott Valley, AZ, where he enjoyed working on computers and electronics, card games, and playing slots at the casino. Larry enjoyed his daily bowl of ice cream and telling dad jokes. Larry is survived by his wife, June Novreske, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and his children: Edward Joseph Novreske (and wife Jan) of Moon Township, PA, Kevin Wayne Novreske of Ramsey, NJ, Donna Marlene Novreske (and husband Phillip) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Paul Lawrence Novreske (and wife Jennifer) of Omaha, NE.; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. We will miss him greatly. Please keep Larry in your thoughts and memories. The family will hold a private memorial service.
