Linda June Kelly

Linda June Kelly, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Conway South Carolina at home with her loving family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was born on January 22, 1943 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Samuel Leonard Powell and Eva Marie Powell. In addition to her parents, she is reunited in death with her brother Robert (Bobby) Powell. Left to cherish Linda June’s memory is her sister, Gloria Sue Reed (Husband, Datise), three children, Doug Elliott (wife, Evelyn), Tammy Croy (husband, Donald) and Madonna Gore (husband, Thomas). Four grandchildren, Sammy Elliott (Maggie), Amanda Croy (Shane), Donette Martin (Justin), and Tiffani Gore. Four great-grandchildren, Ramson Brown, Autumn Brown, Sophia Martin and Rebecca Martin. Three nephews plus extended family and friends.

She was a 1960 graduate of Athens High School. She then went to work at Strother Drug Company for many years then spent later years caregiving for those in need after moving to Conway, South Carolina.

The family has honored her request to be cremated with no services. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, any donations be made to Crescent Hospice 1318 3rd Ave. Conway, South Carolina 29526.
