Linda Faye Mintz, 75, passed away December 30, 2025.
Linda was born on November 21, 1950 in Whiteville, NC, a daughter of the late Nolan and Betty Long Phillips. She was employed by the City of North Myrtle Beach as a bridge operator. Linda was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter L. “Roy” Mintz, two brothers Nolan Philips III and Michael “Mikey” Phillips and a sister Shirley Philips, and a grandson Dusten Juel.
Surviving are her brother Lester Phillips, her stepchildren Walter “Buddy” Mintz (Mary) and Theresa Mintz Yockey, and three biological children Jessica Young, Dana Blythe, and Kevin Jolly, grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren. Linda loved to cook and she loved the beach. Per her wishes, her ashes were spread in the Waccamaw River in Eastern South Carolina. As she would always tell someone who was leaving her house, “Take off like a herd of turtles”. You do the same, Linda, we will miss you greatly.
