Linda Kay Sugrue, age 84 of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina passed away Thursday February 12, 2026, at the Palmetto’s of Garden City.
Linda was born March 11, 1941, in California, Pennsylvania to the late John “Robert” & Irene (Azare) Campbell.
Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her two children son Sean Fisher (Sharon), daughter Kelly Botoulas, sister Janice Stark (Jerry), sister-in-law Cathy Campbell, grandchildren Rachel Oulette (Brendon), Peter Botoulas, David Dent (Sara), Christopher Guaraldo, nephews Ryan Stark, Benjamin Stark,Eric & Scott Campbell Jr., as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her second husband Jerry Sugrue, sister Shirley Book, and brother Scott Campbell.
Linda was an avid gardener, she helped hundreds of people through her work as a drug & alcohol counselor at Hope House in Crownsville, Maryland. Along with her first husband Ron Fisher, who was a founding member of the Annapolis Striders, she enjoyed distance running for several years.
Linda moved to Murrells Inlet 30 years ago with her second husband Jerry Sugrue, the two of them enjoyed working together for many years at Caledonia and True-Blue Golf courses prior to his passing in 2021.
The family would like to recognize the care Linda received from both The Palmetto’s of Garden City and Caris Hospice.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
