Lisa (62) passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024, of natural causes at her home in Conway. 

     Lisa was born in Newport News, VA to her loving parents, Shirley and Clyde Holbrook, on October 19, 1961. She grew up surrounded by family who she loved spending time with and would often recount those stories to her growing children. 

     She married Donald Davis on October 20, 1984, in Ohio. Donald, who described meeting Lisa as a love at first sight event, would often say they picked their wedding date so he wouldn't forget those two very important dates. 

     Together they found a house to buy in Conway in 1987, when their first daughter was 2 weeks old, and this would be the home they would raise their children. 

     Lisa, who had started a career in healthcare because she was passionate about taking care of older people, would move over to childcare temporarily while her children were very young. She then moved on to build a personal cleaning business of her own, where she worked for herself in that field for many years. Later in life, Lisa returned to personal healthcare for the elderly again, which she loved. 

     Lisa was a hard-working woman who loved her family and friends fiercely. She was easy to get along with and had a wonderful sense of humor. Throughout her life Lisa loved spending time outside in her garden, or just to spend time in the sun. Her greatest joy came in spending time with her grandchildren, and she would brag to anyone who would listen about all of them. Lisa made fast friends with everyone she met and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. 

     Lisa is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Davis, her father, Clyde Holbrook and her mother, Shirley Holbrook. 

     Lisa is survived in death by her daughters; China and her husband, Steve Edwards, and Jesse and her husband, Jay Bartscherer. Her stepdaughter, Leslie and her husband Rob Frasure. Her brothers; Keith, his wife Terri Holbrook, and Brett and his wife, Grace Holbrook. Her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Jennifer, Katie, Kristen, Sadie, Elijah, and Levi. Her great grandchildren; Frahley, Allison, Anthony, Aurora, and Redd. A celebration of life was held to honor her life with close family and friends on the 27th of June.
