Lonny James Garrett, age 74 of Myrtle Beach SC formally of North Lima, Ohio passed away May 11, 2023 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Lonny graduated from North Lima high school in 1967 and served with the United States Navy USS Capricornus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Esther (Shodd)Garrett, sisters, Nancy Snyder, and Barbara (Burt) Snair, his mother-in-law Inge Jones
He will be remembered by his wife, Barbara Garrett and his children, Patrick Garrett, Sherry (Brett) Schweitzer, Christine (Paul) Gorby, Brianne Greenwalt, Lonny (Kristen) Garrett, his brother Edward (Vicki) Garrett, and sister, Jane Buffone, in-laws Christine (Sam) Raniolo, & Richard (Sandy) Jones, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered most for his love for his family, motorcycles, and daily trips for coffee with friends.
