Luke, “Mr. Luke”, 79 of Aynor, SC passed away May 25, 2024, at home.
Mr. Hardee was born on March 2, 1945, in Horry County, The son of Grady Estes Hardee and Blanche Causey Hardee.
He is survived by his wife Debrah Morris Hardee, two sons, Luke Adam Hardee (Jolena Kay) and Noah Daniel Hardee (Christina Kaye), both of Galivants Ferry, SC. Two daughters Michelle Leveta Hardee-Oxendine (John Kristopher) of Hartsville, SC and Melissa Perry Bentley of Fort Mill, SC.
Grandchildren: Isaac Jacob Hardee, Layla Brooke Hardee, Emma Eve Hardee, Olivia Grace Hardee, Mackenzie Jade Forrett, Darryl Webster Huggins III, Justin Michael Huggins, Thadeus Morgan Hauck, Grayson (Gracie) Bentley, and a Great Granddaughter Isabella Jacqueline Huggins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Sammy F. Hardee and Bill C. Hardee.
Affectionately known as “Mr. Luke” by neighborhood kids, he loved his family. He had many friends far and wide and never met a stranger. He shared his life with everyone and would always make time to help anyone who needed help. Luke made sure he was a good neighbor. People truly loved him. He made a lasting impression and had an impact on people’s lives. “Mr. Luke” will truly be missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday June 8 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 450 Dunn Short Cut Road, Conway, SC.
