Marilyn Lee Timbrook Obituary

Marilyn Lee Timbrook (Petersen), 80, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on January 7, 1946, in Fair Haven, New Jersey, she later lived in Mays Landing, New Jersey, and most recently resided in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Timbrook. Marilyn is survived by her children, Allison Mann (Timbrook) and her partner John Pizzuro, Todd Timbrook and his wife Stephanie and Mark Timbrook; her cherished grandchildren, Andrew Richards, Riley Mann, Paige Timbrook, Madison Timbrook and Taylor Timbrook and her sister, Barbara Quillen.

Marilyn loved being a mother and grandmother (Muzzy) above all else. She was a devoted wife, a loving mom, and a proud grandmother. She had a gift for entertaining and was known as an outstanding cook and baker — especially for her unforgettable apple pie. She loved art, shopping, and had a wonderfully quirky sense of humor. With a heart full of love, Marilyn’s greatest joy was caring for her family and bringing people together.

A celebration of life will be planned in the coming months.
