1/3/37 - 2/7/21 Marjorie Welch, age 84 of Myrtle Beach, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, Feb.7, 2021, mainly, we suspect, to go shopping (her favorite hobby) in the big shopping mall in the sky. She met the love of her life in her hometown of Leicester, England and had three children, Steve, Robert, and Lynn-Marie, with a handsome young serviceman, Bill, who swept her off her feet. She will always be remembered for her love of animals, love of family and good food, and her tenacity. As Marj would say, “please do me a favor” and consider a donation to the Grand Strand Humane Society or Barnabas Horse Foundation. She had a green thumb but her family does not. Services will be private.
