Mary Ellen Stone Manshack, loving Mother, Grandmother and devoted wife transitioned into her Heavenly home early Wednesday morning of November 8th, 2023, surrounded by her family in her home cared for by her daughters Cindy Michelle Johnston and Amanda Renee Andersen.
Mary was born in Lumberton NC to Pearl Ivey Stone and Leslie Bruce Stone on April 22, 1948.
Mary was a small business owner for much of her life building Helping Hands cleaning services LLC and there was not much she couldn’t accomplish. Ms. Mary was an unforgettable presence to everyone she met. She loved to crochet blankets, scarves, hats and household items for her family and community. She also loved to transform unloved rental houses into homes with the help of her husband Michael Manshack a Carpenter by trade who survives her and resides in Conway SC.
Mary is survived by her two daughters: Cindy Johnston of Forest Virginia, her Husband Jayme and their children Stone Riddle, Christian Riddle, Jeanine Johnston and Jacob Johnston and great grandchildren, Ella Johnston, and Caroline Riddle.
Also, her daughter, Amanda Renee Andersen of Morganton NC, and her children Chamberland Andersen and Cadance Andersen whom she loved dearly.
Mary is survived by her many extended family and friends all around the country and wanted nothing more than to lend a helping hand everywhere she landed. She loved to travel to Sunset Beach Park, Wilmington, and Wrightsville Beach where her home growing up and raising her girls there. She also loved the Mountains of Tennessee in particulate Cades Cove.
