Mary Elizabeth Simpson Coram Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Simpson Coram, 96, passed away on August 25, 2024.  Bortn in Athens, Ga, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion Simpson.


She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, sewing, crafts and walks on the beach. She was a member of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church.


Mary is survived by her son; Rusty (Becky) Coram of Alexandria, Va; daughter, Beth (Don) Sears of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandson, Scott (Kendall) O'Neill of Richmond, VA; granddaughter, Molly (Jake) of Woodbridge, VA, granddaughter, Taylor (Vann) of Conway, SC, granddaughter, Sarah (JD) Gibson of Alexandria, VA, and grandson, Joseph (Maeghau) of Richmond, VA.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Coram who passed away on October 6, 2019.


A memorial service will be held on September 8, 2024, at 2:00pm at NHC Garden City and on October 20, 2024, at 1:30pm at New Hope Church, Lorton, VA.
