Mary Smith, 96, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024. Born in Kannapolis, NC, she was a daughter to the late Banks Caven and Bethie May Caven.
Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed bowling when she was younger, and she enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of Parkside United Methodist Church in Maryland for many years.
She is survived by her son, Allan; grandsons, Mark and Adam; and her brother, Eugene.
Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Eidith, Dorothy, and Annie; and her brothers, Ballard, Wade, Jim, and Charles.
