Matthew Charles Graves, age 47, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away unexpectantly at home on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Matthew was born June 15, 1978, in Wales, to Robert and Diane (Bunney) Graves.

Left to cherish Matthew’s memory is his wife of 22 years Lisa Borne Graves, their son Declan Graves, his mother Diane Graves, his brother Geraint Graves, and a large extended family.

Matthew was predeceased by his father Robert Graves.

Matthew was known by many as just “Graves.” He was an artist, and he loved Liverpool Football Club, YNWA. Graves had a large group of friends and loved sharing a good laugh, but most importantly, Graves’s family was the center of his universe. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of being called family or friend.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
