Melissa Anne Griffey, 53, of Myrtle beach, South Carolina, passed away Thursday July 10, 2025, at her home.

Melissa was born April 28, 1972, in Manassas, Virginia to David Mullins and Judy Salyers.

Left to cherish Melissa’s memory are her husband Lou Griffey Jr., her children Jesse, Blake, Tyler, and Cassidy, her beloved grandchildren Hadley, Harlin, Piper, Harper, and Indy, her parents David and Judy, sister Marci, brother Tito, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Melissa was preceded in death by Roy Salyers, Billy Salyers, Shelby Rhea, Johnny Mullins, and Farrell Willis.

Melissa loved spending time with her family and friends, thrift shopping, drawing, decorating, cooking, singing Karaoke, just enjoying life.

The family is holding a Celebration of Life Service Saturday July 26, 2025, from 9am – 10am on the beach at Yucca Avenue Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
