It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Charles Dougherty, a devoted father, son, and cherished member of our family, who left us on Sunday, January 19th, 2025.

Michael C. Dougherty was born on October 22nd, 1965, to Arthur C. Dougherty Jr. III (April 1, 1941) and Joanne M. Pion Dougherty (September 26, 1940).

Their service in the military brought them together in Plattsburg, NY. Arthur and Joann’e experiences and journey through their service in the military lived through in Michael’s love for his country and his family. 

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Erin Grey Dougherty (born September 27, 1999) and Lauren Elizabeth Dougherty (born September 19, 2001), who will forever hold their father’s memory close to their hearts. His enduring love, unwavering support, and proud smile will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Michael C. Dougherty touched the lives of many through his kindness, humor, and wisdom. His memory will live on in the countless stories he shared, the laughter he inspired with his humor, and the love he brought into the world. 

The family will hold a Celebration service to celebrate Michael C. Dougherty's life and honor his impact on us all. Details will be shared with friends and loved ones in the coming days.

Though he has left this world, his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Michael C. Dougherty. You are deeply loved and profoundly missed.
