Michael A. Krewduk, 66, of Pawleys Island, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 25, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with illness over the past year.


Born February 27, 1960, in Dorchester Massachusetts, Michael was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Carole Griffith Krewduk.


A true New Englander at heart, he carried with him a lifelong love for the coast. He loved watching the Red Sox and Patriots games with family and friends. He was an avid boater, who also enjoyed fishing, and eating lobster. He also enjoyed skiing expert black diamond slopes with his daughter Mary. He was a fan of classic rock and listening to Jimmy Buffet. He loved being outdoors any chance he could get, gathering with family and friends, and spending time at the PIT in Pawleys Island dancing with his wife. He was a dog lover who found companionship in not one but two of man's best friends, and enjoyed spending time walking them on the beach. 


Michael was a builder. Working as a contractor and craftsman for much of his life, he loved woodworking, fixing things, working with his hands, and figuring out how to make almost anything work again. He was a graduate of Weymouth High Vocational School. He also was part of the US Army Reserves.


He is survived by his by his wife, Irene Krewduk of Pawley’s Island SC, his children: Andrew Krewduk of Ridgway PA, Mary Krewduk and her spouse Ian Danielson of Butler, PA, and his step-children, Dan and Beth Peters of Saint Mary’s, PA , Nicole and Mike Brennan of Fall River,  MA and; his grandchildren: Blayze, Danny, and others. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda and Joe Kearns, and Jeanette and Rick Smith.
