Michael W Smith, Sr.

Michael Smith, 50, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formally of Pendleton County, KY and Union County, NC, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in Milledgeville, GA to the late James Cecil Smith and Elizabeth Ann Holley.

Michael loved being near the beach to enjoy his hobbies of pier fishing and shark tooth hunting. He especially loved spending precious time with his grand babies!

Michael is survived by his wife Misti of Myrtle Beach; his four children, Casey Smith of Myrtle Beach, Lauren Neuspickel of Crittenden, KY, Michael Smith, Jr. of Myrtle Beach and Miguel Gallagher of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Aiden, Graylee, Ember, and Laynee; a brother, Bobby Smith; a sister, Tina Taylor; a stepbrother, Dwayne Gibson; and several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Shirley Ann and William Edward Holley.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to complications from COVID-19. Details will be posted when available.
