MYRTLE BEACH>>>Michael “Mike” Wilding, 48, formerly of Sarasota, FL, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Conway Medical Center.

Born in Binghamton, NY, Mike was the son of Joseph and Doreen McDermott Leonardo and Lee Wilding. He was a graduate of Blue Ridge High School in New Milford, PA and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He worked as a chef in Orlando and Sarasota, FL prior to moving to Myrtle Beach where he was employed as a chef with The Divine Group.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his aunt, Helen Bloomer (Donald), of Island Park, NY; his uncle, James Hunter (Linda), of New Milford, PA; and two cousins, Jenna Bloomer and Hunter Bloomer, both of Island Park. Mike was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugenia and Clayton Hunter.

All services will be private.
