Mieczyslaw Jemielity

Mieczyslaw (Matthew) A. Jemielity, Sr. passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Lomza, Poland, on February 22, 1948, to Josef & Czeslawa Jemielity. Matthew was loved by everyone he met. People were charmed by him, children gravitated toward him, animals trusted him and plants thrived for him. He loved fishing, gardening, and all animals. He was always happiest puttering in his garden or making sure his animals were well cared for.
Matthew was a dedicated and hardworking man that made sure his family was always well taken care of. Retirement inspired a move to South Carolina where he again found his passions for new native plants, which of course thrived. He enjoyed spending each Father's Day with his daughter teaching her how to catch the biggest “pool-winning” fish in the oceans. He made people laugh and had a gentle and genuine authenticity and kindness that no one could forget. 

In addition to his parents, Matthew is pre-deceased by his loving son, Matthew Jemielity, Jr. 

Matthew leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Christine Jemielity, his daughter, Diana Jemielity, Brothers and Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many cousins in Poland.  
Matthew will be missed by all but never forgotten. 

Memorial Mass services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo at 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery at 1300 Route 130 North Cinnaminson, NJ 08077
