Noreen Jeanette Mangus, 75, passed away on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully in her sleep, just as her father did before her. Born in Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter to the late Hector and Denise St. Pierre.
Noreen had a green thumb and could grow any kind of plant, and some would say that she could grow grass in the desert.
Cooking was a great skill that she had. Her ribs, Indian tacos, and pineapple upside down cakes were just some of the special things that she cooked.
Noreen was a nonstop workhorse, working as a fiber technician for the Convention Center in LV. She has been many things to many people. She’s been an aunt, a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, and a friend. She will forever be a mother and a MeMe.
Many words can be used to describe MeMe. She was kind, funny, stubborn, strong, smart, and dynamite. She was something big in a tiny package.
In addition to her parents, Noreen was also preceded in death by her sisters, Toni and Herbie, and her brothers, Pikey and Marcel.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise and her 3 grandsons: Ethan, Nathan, and Jordan Mangus. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends.
