Paul Randall Adkins Jr, 65, of Conway, SC passed away July 27, 2024. He was a son of the late Paul Randall Adkins and Martha Stevens Adkins.
Throughout his youth, Paul had a love of playing sports with baseball at its center. A passion that grew while coaching his son and so many young people throughout the years. He took the responsibility to heart understanding that what happens on the field mirrors how we handle ourselves in life and hoped to somehow positively influence the next generation. He had a love of coaching, to which he applied his competitive spirit and love for the players with intensity.
He also had a love of fishing and hunting, but that was eclipsed with his love of family and enjoying those activities with his family and friends.
He attended Coastal Carolina and was a member of The Father’s House in Pawleys Island.
Paul is survived by his wife of 34 years, Michelle; son, Jacob Emory Adkins (Jake), and his sister, Nancy Adkins Holt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A casual gathering will be held 2:00 Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Waccamaw High School in Pawleys Island. Beginning with a eulogy in the auditorium followed by fellowship in remembrance of Paul in the cafeteria.
