Peggy Sue (Harbin) Brunk, age 63, passed away June 5, 2022, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

Peggy Sue was born June 10, 1958, in Fayette, AL., a daughter of R.L. Harbin and Avol Lee (Perry) Harbin. She was known for being incredibly passionate about her children and grandchildren. They were the greatest loves of her life. Selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted her very essence. She always sacrificed her own needs to benefit others and would quite literally give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. She was a free-spirited soul who loved her family, good friends, the beach, and music.

Surviving are her children: Jessica Howell (Jason Perry), Crystal Brunk (Brandon Yarborough), and Richard Brunk (Samantha VanEpps); grandchildren: Tristan Howell and Grayson Yarborough; former spouse and friend: Jim Brunk; siblings: Evelyn Harbin, Jenny Harbin, and Dorothy Harbin (Benny Beard); 16 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jerry Harbin and Richard Harbin, and three great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
