Peter Arthur Kuhnert passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the age of 73.  Born January 9, 1952, Pete lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and a passion for simple pleasures. In his early years, he honed his culinary skills as a chef, a talent that remained a lifelong source of joy, delighting friends and family with his delicious creations.

For 25 years, Pete served the community of Toms River, NJ with dedication as a recycle driver for the Department of Public Works. He was a man of the earth, both in his work and in his love for gardening.

Pete’s infectious spirit shone brightly in his love for dancing, his appreciation for the sleek lines of Corvettes, and his unwavering affection for dogs. Above all, he was a loyal and compassionate soul, always ready to lend a helping hand.

Pete endured the profound loss of his beloved wife, Peg Kuhnert, and his heart longed for her every day. Now, they are reunited, their love eternal. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
