Philip James Gause "PJ" 65 of Surfside SC passed away Sunday July 21st, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Philip gauze was an amazing, devoted loving husband, father and grandfather.

Philip was born in 1958 in Marion, Indiana son of late Philip Edward Gause and Mary Jean Gause. He was a graduate of Marion high School in 1976. After high School he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic. He was recently working for Titan security in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 

He is survived by his wife Kimberly Gause, his two sons Zachary Gause, Samuel Becktell, a daughter Cieara Smith, his brother Steve Gause and sister Denise Brewer. He is also survived by six grandkids, Adrionah, Emma, Brantley, Michael, Isabel, and Cashlynn.

He was preceded be youngest brother Kenneth Gause

There will be a small private service held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and or donations can be made to the Cancer society of America.
