Raymond "Skip" Archer, 80, passed away December 19, 2024.  Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Astrid Soderlund Archer.

Skip enjoyed golfing, bowling, Syracuse Sports, traveling and cruising.  He was a fan of the New York Yankees, NY Giants, and the Buffalo Bills.  He was the former president and fire chief of Ringgold Fire Dept. in Pulaski, NY and N.Y. State Fireman of the year of Northern Central, New York, 1973.  Skip was a member of the Masonica Lodge, in Pulaski, NY, Surfside Moose Lodge, and was also the former owner of Archers End Zone Sports Bar in Pulaski, NY.

 In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his daughter, Sonja Archer and his grandson, Nicholas Pavone.

Skip is survived by his wife, Donna Robinson Archer, children; Veronica (Rodger) Longley, of Land O'Lake, FL, Kristina (James) Hathaway, of Mannsville, NY, Raymond (Dana) Archer II, of Pulaski, NY, and Junia (Joseph) Nolan, of Fuquay Varina, NC.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
