Rita Faye Porter Fulmer 70 of Florence SC was born April 5, 1954, passed away on April 12, 2024. She is in her Heavenly home with her father William "Bill "Gause Porter Jr. her Mother Jeanette Stewart Porter and her son William Owen Middleton. 

Rita was a caregiver to everyone she met and would give a stranger something to eat or drink if they needed it. She was living at home with her dog, who she called "Baby" when she passed on Friday. And from talking to neighbors and others Rita was ready to go home. Her body was tired, and she put up the fight as long as she could.  We will always remember her as she was when she was young and not at the end. She was loved by family and friends.  She worked at a number of different companies performing a wide variety of jobs and tasks. 

Surviving are a special Aunt Margaret L Porter and her many cousins Kathy Porter Favors of Beech Island SC, Robin Porter Grant, Julie Nelson and Jack Porter of Florence  SC, Elliott Porter of Manning SC, Eunice Hewitt of Gresham SC, Wanda Taylor, Legrand Porter, Tommy Porter, and Herman Porter (Junior) all of Augusta GA , Mary Lou Hildago of Gonzalez LA, Ann Grant and Jackie Grant of Laurinburg NC and her cousin Sharon Monahan of Sumter, Heather Scurry, and very special family member Sherri Lambert of Hartsville, SC,  and many more family members and friends. 

Ephesians 4:32 KJV: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. 

May we all remember this verse and forgive each other as we too have been forgiven.
