Robert A. Brown, a truck driver and cherished family member, died at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on January 21, 2025 at the age of 61. 

Born in Rhode Island, Robert was the son of the late Alexander and Thelma Brown. 

He was a kind-hearted man who loved his family and friends.  He grew up in Coventry, RI and was a 1981 graduate of Coventry High School. 

Bob is survived by his sister Deborah Dawkins and his nephews Jason Hodge of Florida, Joshua (Heather) Dawkins and Matthew (Jamie) Dawkins and their families of Rhode Island. 

Robert's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.  May he rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, forever cherished by those who love him.  A special thanks to his ‘brothers’ Joe and Harley locally for their steadfast friendship and guidance. 

A celebration of life will be held in Rhode Island at a later date.
