Robert "Shark" Finn Obituary

Robert "Bob/Shark" Finn passed away on January 9, 2025, in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was the son of Mildred and William, and brother of Eileen and Mary Lou. Bob was born on January 30, 1948, in Baltimore, MD.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; daughters, Kelli Carolan (Chris), Jenna O'Neal (Matt); and grandchildren, Kenzie Carolan, Laici O'Neal, Brady O'Neal, Taye Carolan, Reef Carolan, and Callan O'Neal.

Bob was proud to have served in the United States Navy, with two deployments to Vietnam on board the U.S.S. Intrepid. While in the Navy, he learned to play the drums and joined a band shortly after his return.

After graduating from Towson State University, Bob worked as a Parole and Probation Officer, and eventually became a Special Agent for the U.S. Department of Defense, from which he retired in 2014. Outside of work, Bob enjoyed spending time playing baseball, playing drums for December's Rainbow, Mutual Fun and several church worship teams, watching Baltimore Orioles and Ravens games, and recently participating in Myrtle Beach Car Club car shows with his pride and joy Dodge Challenger. He enjoyed traveling, beach days, good music, a great joke and above all being with his friends and family.

As we say goodbye to Bob, let us remember him not with sorrow, but with gratitude. He lived his life in a way that touched everyone he met, and he leaves behind a legacy of sacrifice, loyalty, honor, and joy. We are all better for having known him, and he will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, Shark. You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten.
