Robert Turner

Robert Turner passed away peacefully at his home in Murrells Inlet, SC on February 28, 2025. Robert was born April 20, 1950 to William & Eleanor Turner of Garnerville, NY. Predeceased by his siblings William Turner Jr. {Butch}, Maryann Brosky and Pamela Squillini. 

Robert worked as a Butcher for 35 years for Grand Union in Pomona, NY. He loved playing golf and was involved in many pool leagues throughout his life. Robert loved his family and friends and had many life long friendships. Robert’s grandchildren were his world.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Nancy Turner, his children Melanie Knight {Brian} of Shallotte, NC and Katie Powers {Dustin} of Myrtle Beach, SC. Robert has 3 beautiful grandchildren Brayden, Ellie and Noah who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held in Murrells Inlet, SC on April 18th from 12-2. His family will release the location of this event at a later date.
