Roy Bradley Thompson Hobby, Jr.

Roy Bradley Thompson Hobby Jr lovingly known by all as Tom or Tommy, passed away Thursday May 18th, 2023. Tom was born on September 2nd, 1949, a son of the late June and Roy Bradley Thompson Hobby Sr. 

Tom was a beautiful soul. A loving father, “Poppy”, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He never met a stranger and made sure that everyone that he encountered knew that they were important and loved. He had the best sense of humor, and always knew when to crack the perfect joke. He was adored by his children and grandchildren. He didn’t like to have idle hands. He was a hard worker his entire life even up until the very day he left us. Everyone who knew him loved him, and he loved each and every one of them right back. He will be greatly missed. 

He is preceded in death by his mother and father: Martha June Hobby, and Roy Bradley Thompson Hobby Sr; One brother: Raymond Deneke Hobby, and his beloved dog “Coco” 

He is survived by his partner: Linda Patterson; His four children: Zack Hobby (Kaitlyn), Sarah Hunter (Jonathan), Raymond Hobby (Tanya) and Laura Parker; The mother of his children and best friend: Katherine Cox Hobby; Two sisters: Robin Hobby Mullis (Ted) and Rhonda Hobby Huggins (Mike); His seven grandchildren: Kai, Alyson, Talan, RaeLynn, Zane, Parker, and Presley; and his beloved dog “Hobart” 

The family will be having a celebration of life on Sunday May 28th, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm at his son’s residence 219 Royals Circle Conway SC 29526
