Russell David DePuy

Russell DePuy, age 85, passed away September 3, 2023, peacefully at his home.  His wife and granddaughter Rachel, were his caregivers faithfully by his side giving him love and comfort until his passing. He was born October 5, 1937 to Chauncey and Meta DePuy in New Brunswick, NJ.

He married the love of his of his life Camille, who he always called “my bride.” He enjoyed working at his son’s cabinetry business for many years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Russell was a devoted husband, father and Poppop. He enjoyed all sports, was an avid golfer and loved his morning drives to the Point Pleasant Inlet. He will always be known for his quick wit, sense of humor and love for his family.

Russell has left to cherish is memory, his wife Camille of 63 years, his sons Russell Scott and Steven and his loving daughter Sherri and her husband Ed. Russell will always be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Lauren, Rachel, Jessica, Larissa, Samantha, Allyson and Connor Russell and two great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Carol and her husband Joseph and his sister in law Regina and her husband Ronald.

Russell will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His wishes were to be cremated and memorialized by his immediate family with a private service.
