Sandra Kay Busch

Myrtle Beach, SC..Sandra Kay Busch-Diehl, age 67, passed away, September 29, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born July 28, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV., a daughter of the late Wilbur and Imogene Hardin, Sandra was also preceded in death by a sister: Mary Ann Moberg.    Sandra loved walking on the beach with Jonathan and spending time with family and friends, crocheting baby blankets, making Easter candy and her famous Christmas fudge and Buckeyes.  She was a member of the Girls of 72.

Surviving are her husband: Jonathan Diehl of Myrtle Beach; Brother: Gary(JoAnn) Hardin of Davisville, WV. And James (Patricia) Hardin of Athens, WV.;  Children: Ben Winkler(Jen) Colorado Springs, CO., Felicia Thurman(Jim) Pflugerville, TX., Ericka Diehl(Andrew) Belpre, OH., Lindsay Diehl Green(Shannon) Parkersburg, WV., Wesley Diehl(Amy) Parkersburg, WV.; Grandchildren: Dylan Thurman, Brittany Hocking(Rick), Morgan Thurman(Shelbi), Nathan Gililland(Albanie);  Great-Grandchildren: Lily Hocking, Charlotte Hocking, Avery Gililland, Addie Gililland, Jameson Gililland, Leo Green, Abrielle Farney, Adisson Stout, Nicholas Hoffman and Aurora Hoffman.  The family would like to give special thanks to the Grand Strand Regional Medical staff in Myrtle Beach, SC and to Mrs. Connie Eads for loaning her condo to the immediate family.

A Celebration of Life will take place near her birthday, July 28, 2022 in Parkersburg, WV., location and time to be determined.
