Sanford Henry Dunn, 86, of Conway, SC passed away on July 2024. Born in Oak Ridge Hospital in Morris, NJ, He was the son to the late Sanford William Dunn and Mary Elizabeth Dunn.
Sanford had a passion for taking care of children. He enjoyed the simple things in life. You could find him spending his free time fishing, doing carpentry work. Telling jokes and stories, He served decades of his life building roads that are still in use today. He was a wonderful, loving husband that went above and beyond to make sure his girl Lou was taking care of, a father and a poppy.
In addition to his parents, Sanford was preceded in death by his siblings, William Dunn, Fred Dunn, Shirley Dunn, Albert Dunn; daughters, Stacy Dunn, and Joanna Vehrs. Wife; Carrie Dunn
He is survived by children, Debbie Johnson (Marshall) of SC, Roy Dunn (Christine) of FL, Jeffery Dunn of FL, Eugene Dunn (Tracy) of FL, Jennifer Christy of SC, Ricky Dunn (Briana) of FL, Mistie Dunn of SC, Jared Dunn (Destiny) of SC, Nichole Bryson (Justin) of SC, Ashley Dunn of SC; grandchildren, Travis, Kyle, Brittney, Patrick, Elizabeth, Heather, David, Mary Elizabeth, Nataly, Clarissa, Kaelah, Jayce, Bruce, Jaidyn, Lucy and Envee.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 2pm at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 4301 Red Bluff Rd, Loris, SC 29569.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Pastor Rodney, Mount Vernon Baptist Church and to his family for every memory and good times he had.
