Sharon Schoch Obituary

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sharon Schoch, who left us on June 3, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Roxboro, NC on October 31, 1946, Sharon was a loving wife, devoted mother, and treasured friend whose strength, kindness, and quiet grace touched everyone who knew her.


She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Barry Schoch of Murrells Inlet, SC; her daughter Dara Schoch of Murrells Inlet, SC; and her son Brian Schoch (Mary) of Greenwood, SC as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.


Sharon’s love for her family was evident in everything she did.  Sharon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the countless lives she touched simply by being herself. Though she is no longer with us, her love remains a guiding light in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
