Susan Lynn Kearney, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 1, 1960, in Norfolk, Virginia, Susan was the cherished daughter of the late David Frederick and Shirley Frederick. She later made her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband, Thomas Kearney.

Susan was a loving wife, mother, family member, and friend whose warmth and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Kearney; her son, Christopher Kearney, and his wife, Michelle Kearney.

Susan found great happiness spending time at the beach with her family, creating treasured memories by the ocean she loved so much. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved Bengal cat, Savanna, whom she adored and cared for deeply.

Above all, Susan loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was truly the life of the party — always bringing laughter, love, and light wherever she went. Her kind heart, vibrant personality, and ability to make everyone feel welcome will be remembered forever by those fortunate enough to know her.

Susan’s love and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed every day.
