Susan Irene Smith, 80, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away May 7, 2024.  Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter to the late Howard and Evelyn Stone.

Sue enjoyed being outdoors. She would often go camping with her husband Jim.  She enjoyed the warm weather and flower gardens, but she especially enjoyed her loving and devoted dog Fred, the beagle.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Denny and her two sisters, Sandra Doss and Sharon Finley.

She is survived by her stepchildren; JoAnn (Ken) Bowman, Jacqueline (Tim) Zimmer, Jessica (Steve) Grover; seven nieces and nephews: David Finley, Robert Finley, Michelle Finley, Stacey Finley, Mike Doss, Steve Doss, and Bonnie Taylor.
