Tamera May (Ring) Burnett

Tamera May Burnett (Tammy) lost her battle to lung cancer October 21, 2025. Born in Portland, OR on December 6,1965 to Charles Ring and Thelma Poderys. Tammy grew up in Baltimore, MD where she met and later on married, the love of her life, Joseph Burnett.

She lived some of her best years as your favorite Waffle House waitress in Virginia and South Carolina. She was funny, smart, caring and a great friend. She was loved and will be missed by many. She wouldn't want us crying tears of sorrow but to remember the happy memories and keep her memory alive for years to come.

Tammy is survived by her siblings, Frank, Michael and Wendy. Her children; Christina, Kevin and David. and her grandchildren; Cassidy and Jaxson.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
