Terry Lee Pentecost, 66, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away June 29, 2024. Born in Hopkins County, KY, he was the son of the late Shelby and Helen Pentecost.
Terry was a proud United States Air Force retiree and Veteran. He graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1997, and spent most of his 20 years in the military overseas. He was a devoted husband, brother, son, uncle and friend.
When Terry wasn’t spending time with family, he devoted his skills and expertise to several civil aviation companies. He retired from the USAF, serving faithfully as an E-7 Master Sergeant. He demonstrated his commitment to personal and professional growth by attending the noncommissioned Officer Academy (NCOA), where he honed in on his leadership skills.
After retiring in January 2024, he moved in to his house he was building in South Carolina. We will all be better having known the soft spoken, intelligent and kind man. He will be missed terribly and never forgotten.
Terry is survived by his wife, Cathy Ann Nee Ciolino Pentecost; brothers, Anthony Ray of Milton, FL, David Duane of Milton, FL, James Patrick of Virgina Beach, VA, and Thomas Jeffery of Milton, FL. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Embry Riddle Aeronautical Alumni Scholarship fund.
