Tessie DeGeorge Obituary

Tessie DeGeorge, beloved mother and grandmother, age 98 of Myrtle Beach passed away, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her home with her beloved family by her side.

Born August 28, 1922 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lucy Nuzzo. Tessie was a homemaker where she brought joy and love to her entire family. Preceding her in death also where her husband, Frank J. DeGeorge; two brothers, Vincent Nuzzo and Anthony (Sonny) Nuzzo and her sister, Angie (Julie) Gargas.

Surviving is her daughter, Anne Ferraid of Myrtle Beach; granddaughter Donnette and husband Dwayne Kirk of Myrtle Beach; brother, Fred (Herky) Nuzzo of NJ; sister, Mel and husband Pat Trolano of Fl; and loving numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
