Theodore Joseph Frazzini

Theodore Frazzini Obituary

Ted was born October 15th, 1942, in Campbell Ohio, the son of Nazarene and Virginia Putko Frazzini.

          His formative years were spent being a sidekick to his grandfather, Enrico Frazzini. He was part of a large family that included many aunts, uncles, and cousins. As one of their star football players, he graduated in 1960 from Campbell Memorial High School. He attended Youngstown State University and was part of Sig Tau. His fraternity brothers remained his friends throughout his life. He was owner and manager of Knolls Paint Center, and the Zoning Inspector for the city of Canfield, and enjoyed coaching the girls fast pitch softball.

          He married Betty Carver on January 21st, 1963. Together they had 3 children, Kimberly Ann Carney, Kelly Jean Frazzini, Daniel Joseph (Colette) Frazzini. He loved spending time with his family, loved playing golf, and taking casino trips and playing cards with his wife.

          His family was the focus of his life. He was the rock that held his family together. Ted had a charming personality and shared numerous elaborate tales. Spending lots of time teasing and singing to his eight grandchildren: Anthony and Nicholas Theodore Carney. Joseph, Thomas, Madison (Joshua Langley) Miller. Megan (D. Ryan) Swinton. Teddi (Thomas) Ruddy. Daniel (Sarah Sandlin) Frazzini. Whether he was at the golf course, a casino, the baseball field, betting the horses, or sitting in the backyard enjoying his cigar; he touched numerous lives.  

          He leaves his seven great grandchildren: Gianni Frazzini and sister on the way. Adelaide, Antoinette and Thomas Theodore Ruddy. David Theodore and Lincoln Swinton.

          He also leaves, sisters-in-law Sandy Smith and Kay Carver, and brother-in-law Jack Kozak, four nieces: Susan (John) Carney, Nancy Kozak Reali, Heather (Bryan) Lacy, and Holly Borchert. Preceding him in his death were his parents, stepmother Francis, his sister Marie Kozak, brother-in-law David Smith, nephew Jack Kozak, and grandchild Victoria Miller.  

          Ted passed away on Thursday February 26th, 2026, in Surfside Beach, South Carolina surrounded by the love of his family. Per his wishes there will be no funeral. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, March 13th from 5 to 8 pm at Millcreek Metro Parks McMahan Hall, Canfield, Ohio.
