Theresa Marie Thompson, 96, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina passed away May 31, 2024, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. 

Theresa was born September 16, 1927, in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Rosario & Theresa (Panagis) Terranova.  Theresa is survived by six of her children, Nancy, Danny, Theresa, Elaine, Joan (Mike), and Mark (Susan), as well as 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her late husband William Thompson, and their daughter Sharon.

Theresa was a very lively lady who was always staying active to the amazement of those who knew her, and she had a passion for her beloved New York Yankees.

The family is not planning a service and has requested that no flowers be sent. If you are able, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
