Thomas Michael Sollars Obituary

Thomas “Tom” M. Sollars, 69, of Pawleys Island, SC and formerly of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA passed away on December 26, 2024.
He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Vernon “Reese” Sollars of Lake Lure, NC formerly of Lima, OH and his identical twin brother Tim Sollars of Raleigh, NC formerly of Lima, OH.
He is survived by his sons Sam Sollars (Alison) of Casselbury, FL, Riley Sollars of San Francisco, CA, and his stepson Kyle Huff (Avital) of Dallas, TX.
He will also be missed by his surviving brother Jeff Sollars (Cathy) of Columbia, SC; his nieces Theresa Bentley and Amber Ross and his nephew Matt Sollars; his great nephews and nieces Isaac Sollars, Cole Bentley and Ellyana Ross.

Most of Tom’s life was spent as a retail manager across the United States for several well-known companies. He is best known for, and most proud of being a restauranteur and former owner of The Litchfield Restaurant (The Diner) in Pawleys Island, SC.

Sharing his love of music as an unofficial DJ at the local watering hole, he would often be engaged in a lively, friendly bar debate and was always surrounded by very close friends.
Tom loved reading mystery novels, cooking for his family and friends, playing golf, and was well-loved in his home away from home of Las Vegas.

We will fondly remember the smile that was always on his face, as well as the perpetual smiles and laughter he brought to everyone around him.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
