Thomas Edward Timberlake, 81, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, passed away Sunday January 5, 2025, at the Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Thomas was born December 10, 1943, in Logan, Ohio, to the late Luther & Helen (Funk) Timberlake.

Left to cherish Thomas’ memory is his wife of 47 years Samnoa Timberlake, sister Leah Timberlake Jenks, sons Mike Adcock, Shane Adcock, and Nathaniel Timberlake, grandchildren Kaylee Adcock Tindall, Madison Adcock, Jason Doyle and Kirsten Hyman and a great granddaughter Millie June Chenoweth.

Thomas graduated from Myrtle Beach High School class of 1961. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, he served 32 years of distinguished service and rose to the rank of Captain with the Myrtle Beach Police Department. Thomas served as Squadron Commander with the Civil Air Patrol of Myrtle Beach from 1993 – 1997, as well as Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 070-12-04 of Central Grand Strand.

Thomas was loved by his family and many friends throughout the United States and along the Chao Phraya River, in Manorom Thailand.
